Genesis 7:21-23: God drowns the entire population of the earth: men, women, children, fetuse, and perhaps unicorns. Only a single family survives. In Matthew 24:37-42, gentle Jesus approves of slaughter.
In this Bible passage God drowns the whole earth. This is God striving for evil and bad. This captures another side of God that looks troubled and mysteries and it wouldn’t be something God would do.
Showing evil in the New Testament:
Matthew 7:13-14,: 13 Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
In this Bible passage God is telling us what to do, God forces us to obey to his demand but if you do not obey you will be punish or destructed as it says in the passage. This is showing evil in God and how Gods power may be used in a bad way.
Showing good in the New Testament:
Acts 10:38:how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him. Jesus of Nazareth … went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. This Bible passage Jesus of Nazareth went about doing good and healing all of those who were troubled by the devil, this is a great example of goodness.
Showing good in the Old Testament:
Genesis 6:8-9: But Noah found favour in the eyes of the lord. This is the account of Noah and his family. 9 Noah was a righteousness man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God.
In this Bible passage Noah found grace in eyes of the lord and walk with God. By recording that Noah walked with God , the scriptures make it clear that he was humbly obeying God. He was walking in ‘the way of the Lord.’
